May 31st – Love in times of war

The magic of the theatre is when everything is ready to be shown, actors and operators are in position and the audience arrives, slowly, walking in the nature, to the scene that is beginning.

The sound of the river, Georgian songs, Goya’s images, actions of Italian, Cypriot, Georgian, Romanian actresses and actors between the Venetian Bridge and the facade of the Church of the Monastery of Saint John Lampadistes in Kalopanayiotis (Cyprus), UNESCO Heritage Site, are the constituent elements of the première of “Love in times of war”, the new international site-specific performance directed by Fabio Tolledi, with the artists Ana Doiashvili, Antonis Christodoulou, Georgia Chrysostomou, Ioana Marina Alexandrina, Maria Irina Pandrea, Matteo Mele, Natalia Berezhiani, Nino Mitaishvili, Roberta Quarta, Sara Cossa, Simonetta Rotundo, Valando Charalambous, Zsolt Fekete and the operators of AVR Lab Lucio Tommaso De Paolis, Carola Gatto, Ileana Riera Panaro, Giorgia De Giuseppe and Federica Faggiano.
