A weird mustachioed character, two space uniforms, a big heart made of many hearts, a paper Salento tamburello, a very special wedding dress are just some of the small great creative works created by the artists in residence and middle school students of Sfântu Gheorghe for the eco-arts activity “Upcycling – a performative reuse!”, organized by UNITER and Andrei Mureșanu theatre, and held by Zsolt Zekete and Föld Szint.
The activity, within the European project “Nature, Arts, Technologies”, had the aim of sharing these possibilities and opportunity, creating clothes and props for theatre performances by recycling waste material, cardboard, plastic, and creating wonderful objects and costumes. The participants were very young students of theatre courses who worked together with international artists playing with materials and creativity.
